Emma Tate, (or Jean Lacy as she generally was known in Pittsburgh) , was truly blessed with musical talents of voice and instrument, which she unselfishly bestowed and shared with our city. She notably enriched both the religious and jazz fields of the city as we thrilled at the beauty of her voice and the dexterity on the keyboards. In a like manner, Emma will be remembered not only by her musical contributions, but also her loving and charitable character.CN
