Obituary of Patty Ruedy

Patty L. Ruedy, 80, of State College, died Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born November 14, 1937 in Lemont, she was the daughter of the late Robert Wagner and Charlotte Schreffler Wagner. She was raised by her mother and grandparents, Russell and Mae Schreffler. On May 14, 1988, she married Ken Ruedy who preceded her in death on July 19, 2010. She is survived by a cousin, Amy McAfee and her husband, Philip, of Fleming; two step-daughters, Elise Mills and Lori McConnell; three step-grandchildren and three great-step-grandchildren. Patty was a 1957 graduate of State College High School. She was employed at Penn State University in the Management Services Department, retiring in 1990. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 1-3pm at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College. Burial will be at Houserville Cemetery.
