Obituary of Vadim V. Likhonin

Vadim V. Likhonin, 27, of Boalsburg, died Sunday, July 15, 2018, at home. Born May 15, 1991, in Almaty, Kazakhstan, he was the son of Vladimir and Vera Gerasenko Likhonin. In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters, Valentina Durkin and her husband, Nathaniel, of State College, Olga Matveev and her husband, Andrey, of Weare, NH, Tatyana Kalinchuk and her husband, Dmitry, of Lebanon, NH. He was preceded in death by a brother, Vitaly Likhonin. Vadim was a 2010 graduate of State College Area High School. He was employed by AW & Sons, Nexen Construction and Elite Exterior Systems. Vadim was a member of the Missionary Church of Grace. He enjoyed snowboarding, riding motorcycles, working on cars and fishing. Visitation will be from 10:30 until 11 a.m., on Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State college. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 11 a.m. with the Reverend Vladimir Vovchenko officiating. Burial will be in Boalsburg Cemetery.
