Obituary of Lidiya Ivanovna Kovaleva

Lidiya Ivanovna Kovaleva, 89, of State College, passed away on August 18, 2018 at her Residence. Lidiya was born in Dergachovka, Ukraine to Ivan Trushov and Anna I. Kucher on May 19, 1929. After completing school she worked as a Photographer/ Photo Editor at PhotoStudio. She married Ivan Kovalev and was widowed at age 33. She is survived by her five children, Nadiya Aseyeva of Springfield, MA, Yuriy Kovalev of Sacramento, CA, Tim Kovalev of Pleasant Gap, Angelina Aseyeva of State College, Jacob Kovalev of Ukraine, along with their spouses. She had 22 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Lidiya is also survived by her brother, Ivan Trushov of Boalsburg. Visitation was held at Koch Funeral Home on Monday, August, 20 at 11am, service will began at 12 noon. Pastor Alexandar Tishchanko of Russian Baptist Church officiated. Burial followed at Boalsburg Cemetery, Boalsburg. Lidiya was very loving and kind. She loved our Lord, Jesus Christ and looked forward to be united with her creator in Heaven. She lived a full life and her sweet smile will forever be remembered.
