I knew Pat for a very short time as her neighbor, and enjoyed our brief conversations. In the summer, she always put out such lovely flowers, and in winter, her seasonal decorations were so enjoyable. She was a lovely lady, and I will miss her presence. May you rest in peace.
My condolences to all the family.

Pat and I would sit on the porch and talk about the neighborhood while enjoying the woodsy sounds, birds and scenery. I lived next door to John Devine at 113 E Whitehall Rd for 15 years while raising my young daughters. After John moved into Brookline, I moved to Centre Hall and 113 became a rental home. I would give Pat updates on tenants coming and going and she would keep an eye on the house for me. She was a strong and independent woman with a good sense of humor. She was a great friend and loyal companion to John. She was one of those people you believed would always just "be there" and she will be truly missed. I will think of her and John whenever I am working at the house. They were a stable part of my past and will not be forgotten. Thanks for the memories...My heart felt sympathy to the family for your loss. Sincerely, Lori Cowell and family

I offer my deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Mrs. Patricia Ishler. This world has so many problems that effect us all, sadly we and the government have no solutions to life's big problems; but where can we find those answers? Jehovah Gods word the Bible gives us many of those answers, as well as practical advice that we can still use even though the Bible was written over 2,000 years ago. What I would like to share with you though is the hope it provides us, and wouldn't you agree we really need hope? That hope for the future helps us to cope with the present, overcome the past and give us something to strive for so we can walk with determination toward the future. As mentioned earlier this world has many problems we know that death is only one, yet God promises that all those problems will be gone including death and that is the hope I want to share with you. Hoping you will find comfort.
Isaiah 65:21-23 "They will build houses and live in them, And they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. They will not build for someone else to inhabit, Nor will they plant for others to eat. For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full. They will not toil for nothing, Nor will they bear children for distress..."
John 5:28, 29 "..The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, ...to a resurrection of life,.."
