Obituary of Curtis W. Brunt

Curtis W. Brunt, Jr. January 14, 1945 to November 9, 2018 Curtis W. Brunt, Jr., 73, of Lewisburg, PA, passed away at Riverwoods Nursing Care Center in Lewisburg. Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was the son of Curtis W. Brunt, Sr. and Gladys B. Brunt, both of whom predeceased him. Curtis was a 1962 graduate of Neshaminy High School in Langhorne, PA, and a 1966 graduate of Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA with a B.S. in Chemistry. He received an M.A. in Business from Webster University, St. Louis, MO. Curtis served in the Air Force from 1966 to 1986, achieving the rank of Major. He and his family enjoyed being stationed throughout the US and in Italy. Following his military service, he lived in Colorado Springs, CO, where he was a vice-president in the Academy Research and Development Institute. For the last 12 years he has resided in Lewisburg. He has enjoyed many years of travel and especially loved Williamsburg, VA and Orlando, FL. He was grateful for the many friends he made at Riverwoods Senior Living Community over the last four years of his life. Curtis is survived by a daughter, Tamara Lafontaine (Lynn) Koval, of Biloxi, MS, a son, Christopher Brunt of Chino, CA and a sister, Karen (William) Burkhard, of State College, PA. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. The family will hold a private burial service with full military honors at the Pine Hall Cemetery, State College, on November 12.
