Obituary of Isabel Corl
Isabel Corl, 89, of State College, died Friday, December 7, 2018, at Centre Crest.
Born September 25, 1929, in Spring Mills, she was the daughter of the late Foster and Berdie Heckman Breon. On December 17, 1950, Isabel married John O. Corl, who preceded her in death on November 26, 2007.
She is survived by three children, Virginia Foster and her husband, Jerry, of Hedgesville, WV, Terry Corl and his wife, Linda, of San Diego, CA, and Todd Corl and his wife, Sue, of Springfield, PA; seven grandchildren, Julie Richardson, Jeremy Foster, Joel Flach, Thomas Flach, Ryan Flach, Christopher Corl, and Joanna Corl; and four great-grandchildren, Kainoa Flach, Jasmine Flach, Ariana Flach, and Jackson Flach.
In addition to her husband and parents, Isabel was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Breon.
Isabel graduated from Gregg Township Vocational High School in 1947. She was a proof machine opperator at People's National Bank until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ. She enjoyed camping, gardening, canning, and cooking. Isabel loved baking a yummy dessert to enjoy after every meal.
A viewing will be from 6-8p.m. on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. The funeral service will be at 11a.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at St. Peter's United Church of Christ, 1795 W College Ave, State College, with Rev. Ann Graves officiating.
Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery following the service.
