Jack was a wonderful teacher, mentor and friend. I took his course in forecasting and he was a member of my dissertation committee. He was always prepared for class, had high expectations of his students, was very supportive, and had a great sense of humor. He helped me think through the design of my dissertation and spent countless hours proofreading and providing feedback. I will forever be grateful for his help and friendship.
