I'm so very sorry for your loss. I have no doubt that God will remember her and keep her memory safe. He will surely be glad to bring her back to life in a perfect world when suffering will be no more and we will all welcome back our loved ones that are asleep in death. (Revelation 21:4 & John 5:28, 29) May our loving Father bring your family the peace and comfort only He can provide.

Dear George, Laura, Greg and families,
We are very sorry to hear of Marie's departing. We will miss her very much. We have many wonderful memories of her at church, at the Church Bazaar, at Green Hills Camp and all the many other things she was involved with here in State College and especially at Park Forest United Methodist Church. They will always be with us. We would have loved to have come to the memorial service. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and always.
Love Alberta, Earl, Marcus, Alex, Lorraine, Alissa and Paula

Dear George, Laura and Greg and families, Marie meant so much to me as well as to the PFVUMC and State College as a whole. I loved and admired her greatly, and as busy as she always was, she always made time for me to visit and talk.
My sympathy to each of you,

George and family, please accept my condolences and prayers for peace and strength during this hard time. Marie brought such energy and passion to all she did. She always greeted me with a smile and never failed to take time to chat during our many, many meetings outside the "Christmas Room" at PVUMC.

Over the years we have had the opportunity to spend time with Aunt Marie throughout various stages of our life. As a child it was always fun to stay at Aunt Marie and Uncle George's house on family vacations. I remember fondly the time they came to my gymnastics meet in Penn State with a wonderful box of homemade cookies that she baked for me and my teammates. Also when we were newly married and Bob was just starting his career they were extremely gracious in making room for him in their busy household while he was based in State College for several months. More recently on one of their last big road trips south, they made time to visit us here in Florida. We had a grand time bringing our starfruit harvest to market, visiting the Titanic museum exhibit and relaxing and reminiscing together. We will miss our kind and generous Aunt Marie.

Please find comfort in the knowledge that God promises to put an end to all the things that have plagued mankind for centuries including pain, suffering and death (Revelation 21:3,4). May these promises from God give you comfort now and real hope for the future. My deepest sympathy.

I have very fond memories of my Aunt Marie; my Dad's youngest sister. You were an inspiring seamstress, traveler and cook! I remember taking a few family vacations with your family and I still use some of your recipes. You had a great laugh and always had a welcoming smile for everyone you met. I will miss you but will cherish the memories. Sending love, hugs and prayers to you George, Laura, Greg and all your family.
