I had the privilege of singing with Charlie Sullivan for a time in the Nittany Knights Barbershop Chorus. I greatly value Charlie's kindness towards me, and his giving heart. In addition to willing friendship, Charlie provided the quartet I sung "Lead" for, with a private coaching session at the Sullivan home. This coaching was a key help in my improvement as a singer. Charlie's willingness to go the extra mile like that was a special honor, one that I will always treasure. I hope that my own singing, both now and in the future, can bring joy to others, as Charlie brought joy to me, in many ways.
