Dearest Carol, Tom, Laura, Molly and Family -
My sincere and deepest sympathy on this sad news of Ellen's passing.
Throughout my lifetime and beautiful friendship that I share with Carol, I am reminded of the strength and passion for life that Ellen possessed. So many memories of happy smiling faces and beauty that Ellen gave to all those around her as Mother, Wife, Sister, and Friend.
She graced our lives with so much Joy and Love.
I am deeply sorry for this unimaginable loss of such a beautiful soul.

Dear Molly,
I was your Montessori teacher and I remember your Mom so fondly. I could tell she was an awesome Mom and no doubt she and your Dad raised you to be the wonderful person and citizen of the world that I knew you would be. I think back on my first year of the Montessori of the Nittany Valley as one of my best due to you, your classmates and parents like your Mom. Two warm memories of have of your Mom.. she took me to SkiMont to watch Rusted Root and she taught me to cross country ski. I still have the skis she sold me and although I didn’t use them when I lived in Houston, I was so excited to use them where I live now in Sault Ste Marie, Michigan in the Upper Peninsula. I was in SC last week as my father passed but I had to return north before the snow, so I missed her Memorial and you, your Dad and Laura. May time bring you peace, memories bring you healing and Love bring you comfort at this time. With Love, Miss Lauren

I am so sorry for your loss. Ellen would frequent my shop in Boalsburg and loved to get pearl + turquoise jewelry for friends and family... and occasionally herself :) I always loved seeing her and catching up. She will be missed.

I will always remember Ellen from my college days at PSU, where I was lucky enough to call her a good friend. Although we had lost touch, I will always remember Ellen's smile and simple ways of reassurance, dignity and love. My sincere sympathy to Ellen's family and dear friends.
