Dear George & Family,
Aggie and I have so many fond memories of Jane - like skiing at Mt. Rose, directing traffic on our job site, hiking Rattlesnake Mountain and driving around Reno in "Lucy". She was a gracious and beautiful woman and we are thankful for the many years of friendship. George, we wish you comfort and our deepest sympathy.
With love,
Charlie & Aggie

It is with such fondness that I remember when I first met Mrs. Schenck—she was the very first neighbor to welcome our family to Princeton Drive in State College. Our house was filled with moving boxes, and our kitchen was not yet functional... Jane arrived with a freshly baked loaf of Irish soda bread for us to enjoy. As years passed, our families continued to interact and became fast friends, but that initial gesture of kindness along with her ever-present smile and laugh will be my lasting remembrance of Jane. May she rest in peace and her spirit live on through her beloved children and grandchildren.

Jane was a long-time friend and a delight to know. From the time of our first visits (over the back fence on South Pugh Street) Jane and George shared with Barbara and me the pleasures of raising children, overlapping interests and countless dinners together. For me, and for her many friends, Jane's death will leave a void that cannot be filled.

George, Hal, and Sarah: we were saddened by the news of your beloved Jane having passed. Love surrounds you all. Jane was a cherished neighbor of Warren and Bernadette Witzig, in Park Hills. Today our family exchanged emails with memories concerning Jane; all of them featured a smiling, pleasing woman who loved her family, gave respect to all she met, and worshiped her Lord and savior.
With great affection, Bernadette, Eric, Leah, Lisa, Marc, and Deb Witzig
