Obituary of Louise Ann Wasson

Louise Ann Wasson, 80, of Pine Grove Mills, died Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at Wynwood House Greenhills. Born May 23, 1938, in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Isabelle Huegul Scheirer. On May 19, 1956 in Boalsburg she married Paul Wasson, who preceded her in death on May 23, 2010. Louise is survived by four children, Ronald A. Wasson and his wife, Candace, of State College, Darlene Bierly and husband, David, of Centre Hall, Kenneth P. Wasson and wife, Tammy, of Pine Grove Mills, and Todd J. and Jennifer Wasson, of Centre Hall; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Louise was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Scheirer. Louise graduated from State College High School in 1956. She worked in central supply at Centre Community Hospital for 23 years until her retirement. A visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 28, 2019 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m., on Monday, at the funeral home, with Reverend Brent Book officiating. Burial will be in Boalsburg Cemetery.
