Tim, I am very sorry for your loss and the thoughts and prayers of my family are with you during this very trying time. I remember seeing your father at the IM building when I would go there after work and he was getting ready for one of his racquetball games and he always talked with such pride about your's, your brother's and your sister's accomplishments. He was a good and kind man and he will be missed.

Dear Mrs. McCormick, Tim, Bryan and Kristine. What a tragic loss. I remember Mr. McCormick as such a nice guy all the way back to when Tim and I were friends in the late 60s till just last year when I saw him at Weis market! Please accept my sincere condolences. Tim or Bryan, if you read this please get a hold of me. I'd love to re-connect and see how you both are doing. I'm not hard to find. Just look me up on the web as an artist from Boalsburg. Please give my best to your mom. -Ken

I had the pleasure of meeting George at a gym, where he often walked on the treadmill closest to the water cooler. When I stopped for water, he would ask about my life and then share from his own. We often talked for several minutes at a time and it was clear to me that he was a deeply caring man. Even though I was only 18/19 years old, I knew his kindness was rare. Not long afterwards, the gym closed down, and I lost contact with George. It has been well over ten years since I last saw him. Recently, I thought I saw him on an island in North Carolina and ran up excitedly to say hi, but I was mistaken. I have often thought about George in the time since we last spoke. There are some people you meet whose charm and generosity keep them in your memory, and George will stay in mine. To all those close to him, I am very sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry for your loss. My heart goes out to you in this difficult time. I know it’s hard to go through this pain, but I hope you may find comfort in knowing that God cares about how you feel and that He promises that “there is going to be a resurrection.” (Acts 24:15) (1 Peter 5:7) Won’t that be wonderful to see our loved ones again! I hope this promise brings you comfort as it does me.

George cultivated the art of invariably being helpful and congenial. He was always there to offer an action or words to help move matters forward or simply to encourage reaching a good objective. I will miss our neighborly conversations, covering many topics, for those talks are irreplaceable.
