To Tim & all the Pitts Family,
We are so very sorry at the loss of your Dad. Through the years, whenever we'd see Charlie & Karol around town, we could always just "feel" the love they had not only for each other, but also for everyone who was fortunate enough to cross their paths, too.
Almost more than anyone else we've ever known, Charlie & Karol --[then, in the past 3 years after your Mom's passing, Charlie by himself]-- took the concept of love, humanized it ............ and made it so very "real" in this world we all share.
Our hearts ache with you, Tim, yet we feel so blessed ----[i.e., so very, very blessed!]---- that our lives were able to intersect with the lives of your wonderful parents, Charlie & Karol Pitts.

So sorry about the passing of your father, grand father and great grand father..... We were just playing cards at his house last week. He will be missed by many and especially our monthly poker crew. 'Charlie's game' won't be the same! Rest in Peace my friend.

I have learned a great deal by following Charles in the field. His contributions to the science and his service to the agricultural community of PA are well remembered. My deepest sympathies to the family.
