I am still in shock and sadness of the passing of John. He should not yet have been taken away from his family and friends. He was a dear, reliable, and most loyal friend for 40 years! I will miss our in-depth conversations on history, politics, environment, travels, baseball, and Penn State football; however, I was never as enamored with massive roller-coasters as he was! But I will miss most his laughter as well as his friendship. His absence now will leave a hole in my spirit that will never be filled again. My most sincere sympathies to Denise, Jay, and Jessie.

As a former Asbury Drive neighbor, we will always remember John's love for Penn State football and fireworks on the 4th of July (the day before his birthday).
