I am saddened by the loss of Carol...for she was first cousin to my Mom, Joyce, Carol ( and Bill)were special also because of the care given to our youngest daughter Amy when she attended PSU and need a "fill in family ", and for welcoming us so warmly in staying with them during Amy's swim meets & events. We were also blessed to meet many of her children and some of the grandchildren on our visits to State College. Carol was truly blessed in both her faith, her family, &her children and will be missed here on Earth.

To The Family, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I also want to share the comfort of John 5:28,29 where we are promised that those who have fallen asleep in death have the hope of receiving a "resurrection" back to life. Life on an earth restored to a beautiful paradise. Psalms 37:11 says, "The meek will possess the earth and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." While we await that wonderful time please find comfort in these promises.

I remember my mentor, colleague and friend Bill Ferrara fondly and well. And I remember my friend Carol Ferrara fondly and well. I shall never forget Carol for the loving and gentle way in which she presented herself in conversations with me and others.
My sincerest condolences to Carol's family. I know that Carol has been an important part of the Ferrara family, and that you are going to miss her. However, I am sure that each one of you has beautiful memories of experiences with your mother Carol, grandmother Carol and aunt Carol etc., that will serve to comfort you at this sad and difficult time. God bless you.
Most sincerely. In love and with love.
Charlie Smith
