There was a baby girl born over 90 years ago. She was the first born. Her parents were delighted at the sight of her pink nose and toes. toes.
They named her Rose.
She grew up on Long Island and had a father who was an artist in his own right and invented different gadgets. Her mother was church going and tended garden with all her heart.
Her daughter Rose grew to be very smart.
Along came another child her name was Helen. And then years later Ruth who as the baby was always carried.
Eventually Rose married.
Before Rose married each person in her family took their place as most families do. Each having their own interests and relationships with each other different from one to another.
Rose became a mother.
Now Roses life took a new spin. With each boy that was born and found his own place within. She did her best as a mother with what she knew.
And Roses boys grew.
Life changed and memories were made. Good and bad as most of us have had. And life took its toll.
Grandma Rose now had a new role.
As a grandmother she loved all her grandchildren. She loved all her family. Life at times plays out as though it were staged.
And Rose aged.
Her life was lived in whatever matter it was. She was wife and mother and sister and daughter and aunt and grandma and those roles may now be gone.
But her memory may live on.
It depends on what you choose to remember. When one passes away our minds go though so many emotions but hopefully they settle into something more comfortable. And we are at ease.
May Aunt Rose now Rest In Peace.
