My heartfelt condolences to Richard's family and friends. I, as one of the youngest Caribou crew chiefs in the 1st Avn Co, flew with (then Lt) Weiler in both Vietnam and Ft Benning. He was always positive and enthusiastic about flying; a trait that was passed on to all that flew with him. I shall miss him both as a friend and a professional officer.
