I just learned of Barbara's death and I am so saddened! Barbara and I became fast friends at Calvin Presbyterian Church in Detroit when I was 12. She and I enjoyed great adventures together during those preteen and teenage years! Barbara was dearly loved by me and my family; she was my soulmate friend and we loved listening to music together, spending time playing board & card games, biking, family trips together, and many many sleepovers. We learned about God together at a crucial time in our lives and we also loved the same boys at church! Our last adventure together was skiing at Smugglers Notch in VT....Barbara did a road trip from State College PA and spent the weekend with us! What a great reunion we had and I will treasure her friendship forever in my heart. Sweet Barbara, I look forward to our reunion together in heaven someday! You're my angel friend forever!

I miss my dear friend Barbara. We were to hike the week following her passing. While I am happy she did not suffer long, she left us way too soon. She was a friend for 23 years. What a wonderful friend she was. She raised two wonderful sons and was always generous, always looking at the bigger picture. Barbara was a wonderful person through and through. I am so happy to have been her friend and only wished we could have had many more years to share with her. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. Sending my love to her.

When I didn't hear from her, I thought she had gone away for awhile, but she didn't let me know.
I finally called her place of work, and found out she had passed away.
I'll miss her terribly.
I didn't even get to go to the Memorial. I didn't know about it.
She was a dear friend.
