It was my fortune to meet Corky later in her life. We took watercolor classes together and shared our love of painting for years. My reflections of Corky are all positive because that was who she was. I will always remember the extreme pleasure that she received from the most simple things in life. She would get passionate over a picture of an animal, especially horses, dogs, and birds. Her love for Tom was present every moment. Her stories of their love and simple celebrations will always remain with me. Her love and admiration for her kids and grandkids was also constantly evident. She was so proud of each one for their accomplishments. Corky was a passionate woman who will be remembered forever.
