Corky and Tom Willson were friends of mine starting at BW in 1959. We shared so many memories at BW and during the years of early marriage and becoming parents. They are dear friends to us and we have appreciated maintaining that friendship over the years even though separated by many miles. We feel so blessed that we had time with them at a gathering of BW friends last year. I wish that we could be with you for the services to celebrate her life. There are many memories to celebrate and I cherish them. Heaven has received a bright and special spirit. Rest in peace dear friend. Till we meet again.

It is so hard to believe that God has a greater need for Corky right now. But, we know he has a greater place for her spirit.
Corky and Tom have been faithful friends to us for 60 years beginning at Baldwin-Wallace in 1959 and it will be so difficult to think of Tom without Corky by his side.
One of my last visions of Corky was her kissing Tom while at our B-W Group gathering less than a year ago.
Corky was my (Don) birthday "twin" as we shared the same dates for our birthday.I always looked forward to calling her and wishing her another "Happy Birthday.".

So very sorry to hear this news. Corky was one of my best friends in High School and how I regret that I allowed distance keep me from interacting with her more through the years. She was a wonderfully unique, special person. My heart is deeply saddened. Rest in Peace, my Friend. Blessed Peace to all concerned. Judy

It was my fortune to meet Corky later in her life. We took watercolor classes together and shared our love of painting for years. My reflections of Corky are all positive because that was who she was. I will always remember the extreme pleasure that she received from the most simple things in life. She would get passionate over a picture of an animal, especially horses, dogs, and birds. Her love for Tom was present every moment. Her stories of their love and simple celebrations will always remain with me. Her love and admiration for her kids and grandkids was also constantly evident. She was so proud of each one for their accomplishments. Corky was a passionate woman who will be remembered forever.

Corky's obituary is a perfect description of her. She was someone who's love and joy and compassion made her the kind of person you couldn't help but enjoy being around.
I miss Corky, not because of the wonderful memories but because she is not here to make more with. Maybe that is what we all feel.

Dear Tom and Family,
I am so sorry for your untimely loss. I taught with Corky at Easterly Parkway for many years. Her laugh was infectious! She touched the lives of so many students. I also remember how deeply she loved and cared for her family and she spoke about you all often. May she rest in peace and may you all take comfort in the happy memories. Deepest sympathy...
