I was so very saddened and shocked to hear of Linda's passing. We used to work out together over the noon hour for years when we both worked at Penn State in the same college; she was a supportive and wonderful friend. It is so hard to imagine her gone at such a young age. We enjoyed some fun times together, and I know she was very happy when she met Robert Altamura; it was the beginning of a very happy chapter in her life. Again, so very sorry to hear; I know she will be missed by many!

Bob and Family: I am so sorry to hear about Linda. She was an invaluable and devoted staff member in Geosciences for the long haul and many of us relied on her “can-do” attitude. Linda just made it happen and she was a pleasure to work with. She was also a tremendous advocate for our students. With my deepest condolences.

We are so saddened to hear of Linda's passing. She was such a big part of the Department of Geosciences and College of Earth and Mineral Sciences for so many years. She knew everything about how Penn State functions, and made Lee's job easy and enjoyable as his assistant for 6 years. Best wishes to Bob and the family in these very trying times.
