I had the pleasure of meeting Jason and was impressed with his enthusiasm and knowledge of sports, particularly the Pirates. I'm sure he would have gone on to greater things if he had lived longer. At least he did what he wanted to do and was very good at it. I was shocked when I heard he died at such a young age. Condolences to his family.

I moved to Thompson when I was in 9th grade. I made a lot of friends while I lived there. We went to school together. The best memories I have is walking down 166 and playing basketball with his little brother and him. He will be missed.

God rest the soul of this wonderful young man. He touched so many of us who never even met him! I was praying for a miracle...and this news really brought me to tears. Jason will be missed so many ways. Heaven just got itself the best baseball writer going! I pray for comfort for Jessica. I will never forget the day I met Jason and he willingly signed the pirates book he wrote and made it out to my Mom. She still has it on display in her living room. Jason was so humble and thought it was silly but my Mom treasures it! Still makes her smile!

To Jason's Family...
Please know that you are all in my prayers. My heart is breaking for all of you!
Jason and I go way back to kindergarten at Holy Rosary School! I have so many memories of him throughout our HRS days all the way through our senior year!
You were such a great friend! You are one of the reasons I am married to my husband! You helped in the hook up! I'll be forever grateful for that!
We had so much fun at prom, our class trips, and just our daily drives home from high school(with our frequent stops at the DQ). There aren't many memories I have that you are not a part of!
I'm so sorry that we haven't been in touch for all these years. I really regret not staying in contact with you!
God sure gained a great angel! Watch over us...
