Shirley, Sam and I recently moved from State College, and we just learned of Ron’s recent passing. We had the pleasure of buying and selling several properties through Ron, over many years. We truly enjoyed knowing and working with Ron. He was a very special person. Our deepest and most heartfelt sympathy for your loss.

Dad, I love you and I don't know if you ever knew this but, you were and still are my knight in shinning armor! You were always there if I or anyone needed help. You always had a way of making a bad situation a lot less difficult. You gave everything you had, your heart, your knowledge and most important, you gave your patience and love even when I didn't think I deserved it. I love you! I always felt like I was your daddy's girl. I remember when you would stay out late at night on the docks on my birthday so I could go fishing and we would always throw fish back in the water. Poor mom would sit and wait for us. How we did so many more things together like being out in the cold building a brick wall. I loved doing these things and more with you. I loved you even when we didn't always agree and I still do. I miss you! If I had one prayer it would be that you know I love you and always will no matter where you are! if I had one prayer was that I hope u knew this and whish u were still here.

Dear Shirley - I was so sorry to learn of Ron's passing. He and I shared many good hours on the golf course, in spite of our less than stellar play and our failure to solve the world's problems, much as we talked about them! Ron's experience in business was far superior to mine, but he always showed me the greatest respect as Broker at RE/MAX; yet he was happy to provide advice when I asked for it, which I did whenever I needed wise and measured counsel. I'm sorry that we lost touch after I moved from State College, but Ron always remained in my thoughts and my affection. He was a real gentleman. Deepest sympathy to you and all Ron's family. I met Ron in the 80's when he joined our real estate firm, then ERA Benchmark Realty. As a broker, I was always in need of good advice. Ron was always willing to share his expertise as a CEO in helping me see things from different points of view. He was always kind and a good friend. He will be missed. My condolences to the entire family. I realize that words at a time like this are never enough to fill the void that is left when there is such a loss.
