What a lovely tribute to a wonderful woman. Sorry about the loss of your mother, Davies. Hope to catch up with you sometime, since I now live in State College. Meanwhile, my deepest condolences to you and your entire family.

I had the privilege of meeting Davies over 24 years ago when I joined a bowling league at Northland Bowl. She was a spitfire! She always spoke lovingly of her family and how proud she was of them. She was authentic, a competitor, and I really enjoyed knowing her. It was so long ago, but I never forgot her and I was saddened to see this notice. She lived a long life surrounded by wonderful family and friends. My deepest condolences to all of you.

Dear Chris, Matt, Casey, Davies Ann, extended family, and friends:
We read of Davie's passing with sadness.
We wanted to reach out and express our condolences. Please know that we are thinking of you and your families during this difficult time.
Our memories are vivid of Davies as being high energy, kind, elegant and soft-spoken. We even remember Davies with Walt “cutting the rug” as the great couple they were and commanding all eyes at a HUB event back in 1975.
We understand what it is to have lost both parents. Good memories are the place where we can visit those who have passed.
Sent to you with sympathy, support and understanding.

I and many, many other people will miss this genuine graceful woman. When my son, Aaron, was in his early youth, she would invite him out to her pond to sail his toy sailboat. She met friends all the time as strangers came into her life. Rest in peace dear lady.

Beside every great man, stands a great woman, wife, mother(grand), mentor! Mrs. Bahr was all to many, but especially Coach!! I remember working at their camp in the Catskills with some of my Frankford HS teammates, and Mrs. Bahr encouraging our participation in learning the Polka and other dances, needless to say she succeeded!! Years later, I learned that Coach and Mrs. Bahr taught a dance class together at PSU, how fitting. Thanks for everything!!! To the Bahr family, my sincere condolences!!
