To Mrs. Williams, Jenny, Tom and the entire family,
Please accept my deepest condolences as I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Coach. He made an impact on all who played for him and knew him. It was an honor for me to have suited up for Ace as a Little Lion and a Nittany Lion. And it was always great to catch up with him in Happy Valley whenever I had the chance. Take comfort in knowing the memories do live on and they are priceless. RIP Ace, a great coach and even better human being. I'll never forget that smile.

Betsy: So so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I had him for Bookkeeping at Bellefonte and he tutored me in Algebra II. I'll never forget him, he was a wonderful and caring man and an excellent coach. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Betsy, Jennifer, and Tommy: My thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember way way back to fun days of a young group of coaches, Bellefonte football games with lots of shenanigans from the wives along the way,. Jim and his great run coaching in Bellefonte and then onto the State College "Little Lions" and finally coaching on the staff of the Penn State "Nittany Lions". A great football player, and a coaching legend. I remember a fun group, "Betsy, Jim, Gloria, Paul, Bill, and Pat " just to name a few from back in the day....I have fond memories of all of you during that time (lots of laughs, always having a good time and friendships that lasted a lifetime) ...I hope all the memories along the way...in time.... will bring you a smile, until then - our love to you all and I pray that peace comes quickly. My brother Bill and I played baseball with Jim and Mike when we were young and we shared many other formative childhood memories with the wonderful Williams family as well. Jim's and Mike's remarkable father, "Woody," was our peerless Little League coach. Bill and I often yet reminisce with great affection and gratitude about those times. Jim was a thoroughly exceptional person, teacher, coach, and athlete; he succeeded handsomely at everything he did and never went on with others about any of it. We are very sorry for his suffering, for his death, and for his family's grief. Farewell and all very best wishes, dear Jimmy!

To the Williams Family, please accept my thoughts and prayers with the recent loss of Coach Williams. Coach was always a positive influence on me during my time at Penn State and during my life after football. He was always happy to ask me how I was doing as well as my family. Coach Williams was my coach for my entire Penn St career and I have nothing but great memories of my time working with "Ace". He made me a better football player and more importantly a better person.
