Dear Stoner Family-- We are truly sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was a lovely lady, and a great neighbor to us while we lived in Boalsburg. The view of her flowers through the window brightened up each one of my spring and summer mornings in the kitchen. I have many great memories of working alongside her-- she in her yard and me in mine, with Dave and Peter moving the mulch for us, and the kids playing in the grass! I remember her sitting on the bench under the flowering plum tree, and how she never got upset that the children would shortcut through her yard, and come over to smell her roses. May she rest in peace!
