In the summer of 1980, we went on an unforgettable high school trip to Europe. Pierre introduced us to the aroma of Limburger, showed us how to get lost in Paris, how to lock oneself in a dorm room and drop the keys into the courtyard. He celebrated his birthday in Rome and the kids came up with gag gifts, most having something to do with his sore feet. My all-time best Pierre moment, however, took place in the SCAHS cafeteria. During lunch, Pierre reached across the table and swiped my tater-tots. I went over the table at him. Our fight lasted all of 5 seconds until a teacher broke it up and hauled us off to Lew Rodrick's office. We sat there trying to explain to the principal that we were friends and how it was all a misunderstanding. Mr. Rodrick nodded, smiled and gave us each a three day suspension. When we returned to school, the subject of tater-tots became a regular part of our hallway greeting. In the time I knew him, Pierre greeted every situation with the same good-natured twinkle that I'm sure he never lost. He has left us at far too young an age, without giving my tater tots back. My deepest sympathies go out to Pierre's family. We who knew him, understand a tiny fragment of the extent of your loss. May you find peace in memories of the joy that he brought to the world around him.

To the Lallement Family: I am deeply sorry for your loss of your dear loved one, Mr. Pierre Henri Robert Lallement. It is never easy to deal with a loss of such magnitude. Nothing compares to the losing of a dear loved one. Our heavenly Father Jehovah understood that and encouraged all of us to comfort those during their tribulation, because we will all need to be comforted at one time or another, (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) But also know that he too comforts those who are mourning, by means of prayer to him, he provides his holy spirit to help those endure. Not only that, He is the means by which all in the grave will be resurrected back to life. (Acts 24:15) May you find comfort in knowing that this reality is a guarantee.

Pierre was such a great guy. I don't know what tussey mountain will be like without him. I wish i could go to this memorial service not only because of the families loss but it feels like my loss. When in fact it wasn't my loss as much as everyone's loss. Pierre was there when I had some of my biggest injuries and was most upset.

Skiing at Tussey with Pierre was always a treat esp. since he was on ski patrol ! Also as a member of the Tussey Mt. Ski Club with Pierre during the early season we all shared many lunches and apres ski moments that were fun and full of good times. Hard to believe I won't see him making omelets at the ski patrol breakfast but we will all be sure to remember our good friend when that event comes around. Cannot convey how much he will be missed by his ski family .

I am devastated that we have lost Pierre. I am remembering him on the ski hill with the speed gun, hoping to catch us all speeding. I am remembering him putting a splint on my thumb when I ripped the ligament. I am remembering calling him on the hill to tell him that some kid was down and needed help. I am remembering how much fun we had with him and how much he did for us all. What a wonderful man. I extend my heartfelt sympathies to Robin and Luc and Paul. Sue Brantley
