Obituary of Esther Nelson

Esther Etta Nelson, 95, of Boalsburg, died Thursday, November 10, 2011, at Centre Crest Nursing Home, Bellefonte. Born August 23, 1916, in Potters Mills, she was the daughter of the late Franklin H. and Mary E. Faust Ennist. She married Russell J. Nelson on August 16, 1936 who preceded her in death on January 17, 2002. She is survived by two children, William "Bill" Nelson and his wife, Carol, of Boalsburg and Beverly McNulty and her husband, Walter, of Boothwyn. Esther attended school in Potters Mills and then Centre Hall High School where she graduated. Visitation will be 11 to 12 p.m. on Monday, November 14, 2011 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Brent Book officiating. Burial will be in Pine Hall Cemetery.
