Last night I happened to catch a TV show where they were restoring a Fiat X1/9 and remembered the red one that Lou had way back in the 70's. That got me curious as to what Lou was doing these days and I Googled him and, unfortunately, found out about his passing. So sad to hear about it, he was one of the good characters from the banking days. When we still lived in the Poconos, I always thought of him whenever we drove by the "concrete" house on Rt 715 or past his house on river road. I can still remember how upset he was when one of his dogs was stolen from behind the river road house - nobody could believe that anyone would have been brave enough to steal that dog (it was a little big and didn't like strangers). Nor could Lou believe that nobody at the bank knew that you and he had been dating for such a long long time. Good times, good memories. We all hope that he's playing backgammon somewhere now...
