My dear friend, I’ll miss you here. You are home with the Lord, with your mother and father, and learning so many answers that you now get to ask Jesus. We met in Disciple class in 1993, and started a lifelong friendship. You were forever a mother, a nurse, a teacher, and servant of the Lord. You were fearless. And, you LOVED to travel. I was blessed to travel to Greece with you and to see so many of the profoundly beautiful places and to learn from your numerous visits there. You took joy in living and in caring for people, and you never forgot your roots. Welcome home!

I am a volunteer long term care ombudsmen for the County Office of Aging. I first met Marion when she was a resident at Elmcroft. We had many long talks as she loved to discuss concepts and wanted to contribute in meaningful ways to the well-being of others. We continued our visits for a time at Hearthside. She was truly a gem and delight to know.

Dougan family,
My deepest sympathy at the passing of Marion with whom I was privileged to work with on workshops in the early 1980s. She was a wonderful person with a great sense of humor and always well-prepared for our work. Although I had not seen her in many years, I remember her well and treasure our time together.

Marion will long be remembered as a loving and caring person. We will remember her as a person who truly loved Greece, it's culture and beautiful countryside. We used to call her "Greek Goddess". Rest in Peace. dear Aunt Marion. You will be missed by all of us.
