Please know that Irene will be remembered forever. I had many positive times with her over many years, while living down the street. She was passionate about her family who meant everything to her. Her skills at counted cross-stitch were always amazing! She always spoke fondly about her teaching experiences as well.

Note the hematite necklace in the photo. That was her engagement "ring" which my dad bought for $10. Much later, within my living memory, it was turned into the centerpiece of a real ring. She loved telling me about her very special and unique engagement jewelry.
