Mrs. FEDON was always quite kind and gracious to us as we stampeded up Center Hills country club in our bathing suits to ride the ponies fire cracker and Niki. I have never fallen off of a four-legged animal more than I did those ponies!
More recently, since the onset of her dementia, she remained amazingly cheerful and bright. She and LAURIE welcomed me into their home to spend the night or two during my visit to state college.
After my dad, Bob Kistler, passed with dementia I really felt for Laurie, the primary caretaker of Marie, and was glad Marie was so happy.
