To Vicky, Barb, and Regina, my sincerest condolences on the loss of your Mom. I recall meeting your Mom a couple of times while Vicky and I were at Muhlenberg, and she seemed to be a kind, gentle woman. In reading her obituary, I can see that she had a true calling as an educator and advocate for children’s literacy. That is wonderful! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad time. I know your Mom rests in peace knowing how much she was loved by her family. I hope that you all know the caring thoughts being sent your way as you cope with her loss. Not easy, ever, but know that she is resting in peace.

Dear Barbara,
My heart goes out to you and your family with the passing of your mom.
Your love for her shows in your dedication to helping her through the last few days.
I’m glad she didn’t have to linger in her suffering.
Her obituary is so nice and I can tell she was devoted to her family and community. She leaves a legacy That will always be with you girls.
I wish you and your sisters much peace and help support one another in this new day. Life is hard but family makes it worth it.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting Ann. But what I do know is that she raised a remarkable daughter In BarbiJo, and I imagine that is what any mother wants to know before she leaves this earth. May she Rest In Peace, knowing she made a difference by bringing a love and caring to her family that now extends beyond her physical self, and into the rippling pond that connects us all.
