I met Loretta in Trader Joe’s 5 years ago when my wife and I moved to State College. She asked me to pick out a watermelon for her. She said thanks and we both went about our shopping. A couple of weeks later I was coming out of church and someone tapped me on the shoulder and said that lady in the car right at the entrance of church is trying to get your attention. It was Loretta, I was so happy to see her and after that we would always talk and I would call her my guardian angel. She always had a smile on her face and always asked about our family. I loved her so much! Our joke was that it was the best watermelon she ever had! RIP Loretta
With sincere sympathy to the entire family.

I admired my Aunt Loretta for her dedication to life of acceptance, love and a wonderful spirit of joy she gave to all of us.Thank you for your service to us all. Thank you for your example of loving kindness. Thank you for that wonderful smile that I will always come to mind when I think of you. I know your transition from this life to the next will be celebrated in that life because of all you have done here. Well done good and faithful servant for the work of this life to us all and for the lesson you taught by your example. Though you will surely be missed here , I am glad that you have transitioned to life without pain and suffering. God speed.

I was very sad to hear about Loretta's passing. I first met her more than 40 years ago and was immediately impressed by what a great family she and her husband raised. Some of the best people I have met. Sending good wishes to the Langton family.

I Will NEVER forget Christmas 1969. As a member of Mr. Langton’s A-Capella Choir, Mrs. Langton approached me after our Christmas Concert and gave me a gift and her “trademark smile”. That introduction was the beginning of 51 years of knowing a lady who ALWAYS brought a smile to my face whether we met in church, school or around town. She was an anchor to a great family. I’m SO sorry for your loss but, for me, her legacy will live on in her children, her grandchildren and in every life she touched.
Jim’s Music stirred our souls and Loretta was surely the wind beneath our wings
