She was a grand lady with a sense of style and a wonderful smile to match every outfit. She and my mother enjoyed many games of bridge and trips out for lunch together. They were besties, enriching one another’s golden years. (May we all be able to find such a friend when those years arrive.) Willy loved sharing photos of her grandchildren and delighted in their achievements. I remember that she never wanted to leave the Jenkins’ Christmas party until the end, just as she savored her long and rich life.

Willie was part of our University Club Bridge group. She was always so peppy, positive and enthusiastic-not only about bridge but about life! I admired her "get up and go" although I knew it was difficult for her. She loved coming to The Village for lunch and bridge.
I shall miss her.

Willy will be sorely missed by her neighbors from Teaberry Ridge. For many years she came to our annual Christmas Open House and graced all with her laughter, good humor and smile. We wish the family comfort at this time of grieving. The photo captures her spirit and love of life. Thanks for sharing it.

She was a remarkable person, whose life positively touched so many others. A true foundation for her family, and an inspiration to many of us.
Love and prayers to The Haaijer family.
