I enjoyed seeing her and chatting in recent years at Foxdale
I never had the pleasure of meeting her, but my own mother did. My mother always spoke with such affection for this remarkably kind and generous-hearted woman. Learning Mrs. de Levie's story only deepened my respect and appreciation for this dear lady. Alvin was my classmate. I have warm memories of him, always kind, always friendly, smart and funny. I am sure that his mother was instrumental in the formation of his character. What a wonderful legacy for a very wonderful lady.
