Obituary of Donald Way
Obituary: Donald Wayne Way Donald Wayne Way, 85 of Boca Raton, FL, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2011. Donald was born in Stormstown, Pennsylvania. After high school he joined the navy to become a pilot during WW II. After discharge, he went into the bricklaying trade. He was very successful in his endeavor, ultimately supervising the masonry of many skyscrapers in Philadelphia and Boston. To this day, the skylines of those cities remain a testament to his life's work and his unwavering dedication to excellence. Donald was especially pleased to be part of the construction of two well known buildings: John F. Kennedy Library and Museum, Dorchester, MA and Joe Robbie Stadium, now known as Sun Life Stadium, Miami Gardens, FL. Donald is survived by his lifelong friend and former wife, Franey W. Way, and six children; David Way of Pennsylvania, Suzanne Lillie of Massachusetts, Kathleen Brown of California, Rosalie White of Florida, Laura Legare of New Hampshire, and Daniel Way of Tennessee. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by all. Funeral Services will be held at the Zion Lutheran Church in Boalsburg on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev Brent Book officiating. Burial will be in the Boalsburg Cemetery with Military Honors.
