So sorry for the loss of your mom, my sister-in-law & our friend Doris. We remember her over the years which now has given us much sympathy for you two, Stephanie & Frank. We remember all the laughs we had when we were all together enjoying holiday dinners.
Our deepest sympathy,

To Frank, Stephanie and all the Kunkle family members,
Our deepest sympathies go out to you during this time of loss. I remember fondly all the times we spent together growing up as a family and spending time together during the holidays. Hopefully, we can remember our lost family members as they were during those times of joy when we were all a little younger. If you need anything from us during your time of grief, all you need to do is ask.
I have made a donation to Centre County PAWS in Aunt Doris's name.
All our love, Cousin Ed, Kim and Eddie Smart

Doris and I were friends since grade school, we lived just a couple blocks from each other when growing up. After high school we lost touch until one day my family moved to a neighborhood on College Hill in Easton, Pennsylvania only to discover that
we were once again neighbors. At that point our two families all but became one. Our children were like brothers and sisters to each other. There was Indian Guides and Indian Princesses, family camp in the Poconos, swim meets and of course the best of all was Christmas Eve. I cannot count the times when the children were in school that Doris and I sat together sipping our tea. We lost touch again the past couple of years when we moved away and our children and their families moved away. Just recently I became aware of her illness and had phone numbers to get in touch. Doris called me recently and we were on the phone for over an hour. It erased all the time that had passed since we had last spoken. I knew by talking to her how advanced the disease was but will treasure every minute of that last call. I know she is at peace now and back in the care of her Frank. Good bye my friend.
