Bella Gummo cared for me and so many others in the nursery of Bethel church where my father was the pastor. She used to say to my mom “you’ll never make a lady out of that one!” because I was so spunky. She was spunky too and I loved her for it. She was a rock in the church- always there, caring faithfully and lovingly for all of us through the years. May God bless all those she left behind.

Gram - You will always be remembered as strong, resilient, and kind. A tough exterior with warmth and love for all. You knew everyone in town, always thought of others first, and you're kindness was ever present. I learned from you what it meant to be there for others no matter what the circumstances. I also learned what it meant to have a community. Whether it was going to local flea markets, Grange Fair, or just stopping by McDonald's. You knew everyone and they're family, and I could never understand how that was possible. But it's something that took time to develop, a life time's work. Thank you for being such a wonderful Gram and always being there throughout my life. Much love

To Roy and family, your family is in my thoughts and prayers at this time .
Bella was my neighbor for many years. She always enjoyed working outdoors with her flowers.
She would also feed the stray cats that wondered into her yard. She liked going to flea markets to look for buys on antiques. She was a very nice woman who loved her family.

A dear friend and faithful servant of our Saviour, Bella will be remembered as a faithful and loving "nursery mom" to so many of the children of our church families as well as our own! Roy and family, Helen, and all touched by your loss, know that you are being upheld in prayer and have the comfort and grace of our great God to draw upon. God bless you.
