Obituary of Gail Lee Campbell

Gail Lee Campbell, 57, of State College, died Monday, December 14, 2020, at UPMC Altoona Hospital.

Born July 12, 1963, in Tyrone, she was the daughter of the late Richard K. and Ina Miraglia Grove. On August 23, 1986 she married R. Paul Campbell, who survives.

Also surviving is one son, R. Dale Campbell of State College; two sisters, Pamela Burkett and her husband, Donald, of Pittsburgh and Lynne Graves and her husband, Shawn, of Tampa, FL.

She was a 1981 graduate of Bald Eagle High School. She earned a certification as an LPN from the Vocational Technical School in Pleasant Gap (now known as the Central Pennsylvania Institute of Science and Technology) in 1983. She received a degree as a Registered Nurse from the Altoona Hospital School of Nursing in 1986. Gail earned a degree from St. Joseph's in Hospital Planning Administration in 1998.

She was employed at Brain Tree, a head injury rehabilitation hospital in Boston, MA.

Gail was of the Lutheran faith.

She enjoyed gardening, her Koi fish pond and loved her cats and dogs.

Burial will be in Fairbrook Cemetery.
