Obituary of Christine Dawn Ehringer

Christine Dawn (Waddell) Ehringer of Moon Township, PA and State College, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Village at Penn State.

Born September 26, 1948 and raised in Greensburg, PA, Christine was the daughter of the late Donald and Ruth Waddell. She is survived by her children David (Amanda) Ehringer of Newmarket, NH, Geoffrey (Krista) Ehringer of State College, PA, and Kristen Ehringer of Sandy, UT; their father George Ehringer; her grandchildren Finnegan, Penn, Tucker, and Clover; and her brother Daniel (Darlene) Waddell of Bozeman, MT.

Christine was a retired actuary with a Mathematics degree from the University of Richmond. She was an avid snow skier and enjoyed spending time boating with family at Deep Creek Lake, Maryland. Christine loved animals, dancing, traveling, and baking.

In 2018, Christine moved to State College to be closer to family. The Ehringer family sends gratitude beyond measure to the residents and staff at the Village at Penn State for their kindness and loving care.
