Phil Cochrane posted a condolence

I remember you telling the story about bandaging a lepers ulcerated feet. As you cleaned his sores, he looked down at you from where he was sitting and said, "Madamo, we know you love us." You replied, "How do you know I love you?" The leper replied, "Because you touch us." I'm so lucky that those same hands touched me...changed me....convinced me of your love. I know you loved me....because you touched me. I bless you and your memory. Phil

Sister Edith and her husband Phil, were a great blessing to my husband and myself. When itinerating in the Penn-Del district, they were so supportive, hospitable and gracious, as we visited in their home. We admired Edith's skills, but mostly her heart for God and the lost. I'm sure she is reuniting with many who are thanking her for bringing them God's Good News! Thanks Edith, William and Hilda Bradney

I will miss Sister Cochrane because when I first started in the ministry and got to know her she was a great encourager to me. I would look for her at Minister's meetings and just talk with her about everything I was going through and she always had a great Word from the Lord for me. She told me about her book one day and gave me a copy and I read the book right away! It was a great book! I will miss my friend and her talks with me but I know for sure that I will see her again one day soon!

Edith was one of the most loving and dedicated Christians we have ever known. She always had a smile on her face and a helping hand for all. Her faith and strength in the Lord was such an inspiration.
We will remember her and Phil always.
Sending love and prayers at this difficult time.
