Dear Family - My sympathy during this time of sorrow. May you find strength in each other with your memories of Carolyn's life - her actions, support and vision. She must have been a strong and steady anchor for so many. I imagine her delighting in spotting bluebirds, the first robin, the sounds when folks came into the house, the anticipation of so many things. May her way of being continue to be a comfort and inspiration.

Uncle Joe, Nancy, Barry, and Denny,
I am so sorry for the loss of Aunt Carolyn. She always made sure that your house was a home away from home for me and my family. She was always so accommodating. My memories of her include her warm smile and effort to make sure we had all the special treats that we wanted: grilled stickies, individual sized cereal boxes and, of course, our favorite Meyer Dairy ice cream flavors. It was always a special treat to stay at the farm and visit the cows and chickens. I am so sorry that Mike and I cannot be there in person to pay our respects, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time and that we also mourn the loss of this very special lady. May she rest in peace and may you feel our Lord's loving arms wrap around at this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Cathy and Mike Ashton

Joe and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Meyers passing. I was a classmate of Margy and a very frequent visitor to the best ice cream store in America. The family atmosphere, service, quality and goodwill you created at “Meyer’s D” was. And is a State College Treasure.
Carolyn greeted me with that genuine “Meyer smile” many times and her presence is already missed. I rejoice in the Lord that Carolyn and Margy are reunited while expressing my sincere condolences for your and our loss from Carolyn’s presence on this earth. God Bless you all at this time.
Sincerely,
Mike “Merc” Morse

I'm so sorry to hear of Carolyn's passing. I've known her since I was little, and would go to the farm house with my mother to get a roaster full of eggs for 10 cents a dozen! She and my mother were very close friends all their life. Such a sweet and gentle soul. She will be fondly remembered.
