Obituary of Angela L. Faulkner
FAULKNER, ANGELA L. (INTORRE), of Englewood, Ohio passed away in Columbus, Ohio, on Jan. 18, 2021 after an extensive battle with COVID-19.
Angie was born in Bellefonte, Penn. on June 24, 1953 to Salvatore and Adaline Intorre, both of whom preceded her in death.
She graduated from State College Area High School in State College, Penn. in 1971. She was employed by the U.S. Air Force as a budget analyst until her retirement in 2012.
She was an amazing mother, a doting grandmother, a cool aunt, a loving sister, and a great friend. Her wry sense of humor and vivacious personality will be greatly missed.
Her hobbies included spending time with friends and family, scrapbooking, card games, movies, travel, music, reading, and cheering enthusiastically for Penn State football.
Angie had a love for dogs dating back to her childhood. She cared for and bred yellow labrador retrievers for 20 years and in her later years, doted on her beloved hound dog Tucker.
In addition to her parents, Angie was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Faulkner and her sister and brother-in-law Mafalda (“Miffie”) and Raymond Houtz. She is survived by sons Sean (Halisa) Sowash and Kyle (Jennifer Wray) Sowash, brothers Barry Intorre (Boalsburg, PA) and Anthony Intorre (Phillipsburg, PA), sister Kimberly Intorre (State College, PA), as well as five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebrations of her life will be held in Englewood and State College when it is safe to do so.
