Obituary of Kevin Buckley

Kevin Robert Buckley, 27, of Lemont, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at Hershey Medical Center. Born August 11, 1984 in Philadelphia, he was the son of Robert Martin and Joanne Cava Buckley. He is also survived by a brother, Patrick A. Buckley, of Lemont, a maternal grandfather, Philip Cava, of Salem, NJ and paternal grandparents, Robert and Dorothy Buckley, of Philadelphia. Kevin was a 2002 graduate of State College Area High School. He attended Penn State University. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. His life was filled with many happy memories and enjoyments such as camping, fishing, photography, art, movies and biking on the Southern New Jersey Shore. Visitation will be 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton St., State College. Funeral service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Brent Book officiating. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to the American Cancer Society, Centre Unit at 123 South Sparks Street, State College, PA 16801.
