I am so saddened and shocked to hear of Christine’s death. I was a classmate of hers at Burgaw High School and grew up near her. In fact, I had the privilege of sitting with her and you, Roger, at our last class reunion. I took this picture of her at our reunion. She was a special person and a wonderful friend. My most sincere condolences to her family at this time.

Christine, a life well lived and well loved. We will miss your warm friendship, enthusiasm for UNC basketball, travel stories, and the intelligence, wit, and wisdom you shared in our Book Club discussions.
