Obituary of Anna Hauck

Dr. Anna J. Hauck, 85, of State College, formerly of Greenhills Village, died Friday, December 9, 2011, at the Centre Crest Nursing Home, Bellefonte. Born December 10, 1925, in Dunellen, N.J., she was a daughter of the late Harry J. and Josephine Hague Hauck. She is survived by her sister, Henrietta H. Baylor and her husband John, of State College. She is also survived by two nieces, Martha Baylor Trout of State College and Sue Colbath of Austin, TX and two grand-nieces, Kristen Trout and Jillian Keith. She received her Bachelor's degree from Douglas College in New Brunswick, N.J. in 1948 and her M.D. in Medicine from Boston University in 1952. She was a Pediatric Cardiologist at the Children's Hospital in Boston, Mass. retiring in 1963. Anna was a member of the Dunellen United Methodist Church. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, Alpha Omega Alpha, and the Fellow American College of Pediatrics & Fellow American College of Cardiology. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Plainfield, N.J.
