Obituary of Frederic C. Dale
December 15, 1951 – March 27, 2021
Frederic C. Dale, 69, of Boalsburg, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend joined his Lord on Saturday, March 27, 2021. Born in Bellefonte, PA, Fred was the son of the late Frederic E. and Effie L. Keller Dale of Boalsburg.
Fred was a 1971 graduate of State College Area High School, and the former Centre County Vocational-Technical School which was located at the Bellefonte High School. He started his long career as a mechanic at Sears & Roebuck/Sears Automotive, retiring after 47 years of service in 2017.
Fred was a dependable man and always ready to help with his handy pocketknife and flashlight—something he was never without. He was often called by friends and family for his advice and knowledge of the workings of a vehicle. He loved anything involved with car racing and speed. He planned his weekends around the NASCAR schedule during race season and would watch anything from motocross to speed boat racing.
On November 10,1984, he married Denise M. Robinson, who survives. Fred was the proud father of two children, his son Matthew T. Dale and his wife Heather, and his daughter Amanda E. Dale. He adored his grandchildren, "Scooter and Scooterette" as he would call them, Colby and Aubrey Dale. Fred is survived by his loving sister Victoria A. Dale, mother-in-law Alma Robinson, and step-mother-in-law Sharon Robbins. He will be greatly missed by his life-long friends Will and Missy Stark. Also surviving are his three brothers in law, a niece and a nephew. He will be missed by his grand-puppies; Bently, Gerald, May, and Maggie.
There will be no public visitation per Fred's request. There will be a Celebration of Life Service on April 6, 2021 at 11:00 am, at Robbins' Paradise Ranch, 273 Paradise Lane, Julian, PA, 16844 with Pastor Brent Book officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Fred's memory to Zion Lutheran Church, PO Box 9, Boalsburg, PA, 16827.
