I just loved Bruce Shobaken. I was a graduate student in painting and printmaking and studied under him at Penn State. When he went on sabbatical the spring of 1968 he put me in charge of the printmaking lab. I was so honored. He was a wonderful teacher, a very special human being. Years later I went back to visit him and his wife Marilyn. It was such a treat to see them and talk till the late evening. Bruce will always have a special place in my heart ♥️. My deep condolences to Marilyn & their son and family. Much love ❤️ Michelle Gamm Clifton, Garrison, NY

Bruce and Marilyn were neighbors in Vallamont, neighbors in the very best sense of the word. Caring, bright, and always interesting, Bruce shone in life and his work. He is missed. Thoughts to Marilyn and the family.

Most heartfelt condolences, Marilyn... Bruce will always remain in my memory... not only as the best tennis partner for many years, but as a caring and thoughtful gentleman... RIP!
